The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially unveiled its schedule of activities and timetable for the 2026 Ward, Local Government Area (LGA), and State Congresses in Adamawa and Zamfara States, as well as the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The announcement, issued from the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja, follows the successful conduct of similar congresses across 32 states of the federation. The party leadership noted that the timetable is part of its ongoing internal democratic processes aimed at strengthening party structures and ensuring smooth leadership transitions at various levels.

According to the schedule, the exercise will begin with the screening of aspirants for ward executive committee positions and will progress through appeals, congresses at ward and LGA levels, and finally culminate in the state congress.

The APC emphasized that all stakeholders, aspirants, and party members are expected to strictly adhere to the outlined timetable to ensure a transparent, credible, and hitch-free process.

The schedule, signed by the National Organizing Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, outlines a structured sequence of activities designed to address disputes promptly through appeals while maintaining momentum toward the final state congresses.

For political observers, the timetable signals the party’s readiness to consolidate its grassroots structures ahead of future electoral cycles, particularly in key states like Adamawa and Zamfara, as well as the nation’s capital.
