The senate president Bukola Saraki is certainly not in good terms with the presidential candidate of All Progressive Congress APC, Muhammadu Buhari, Dailyadvent learnt.
The Kwara State-born politician is believed to have made moves aimed at frustrating the administration of the former military head of state from the first day and both men have been visibly antagonistic to each other ever since.
The last straw that broke the camel’s back for the Buhari was when the Senate President decided to dump the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) towards the end of 2018.
Reports suggest that the top decision makers within the APC and the Presidency are now working hard to make sure that Saraki does not return as an elected Senator, let alone the Senate President in the next dispensation.
Meanwhile Atiku had named Senate President Bukola Saraki as his Campaign DG, with Fayose, Tambuwal and Wike also getting coordinator roles in the team.
