The Indigenous People Of Biafra IPOB, has ordered the residents of Aba to sit at home ahead of president Muhammadu Buhari’s visit to the city.
A statement release by the spokes person of the group Emma Powerful, urged the residents of Aba to stay indoors from 6am to 4pm.
Powerful, warned it’s members to stay away from the political activities on Tuesday.
He said their desire was to ensure a total boycott of Buhari’s campaign with the hope he’ll meet the enyinmba stadium empty.
Meanwhile the city has been security tighted since Monday evening.
Sources from various security agencies stated that the president would use the visit opportunity to Commission the Ariaria International market power project of the Federal government executed through the rural electrification angency before addressing the supporters of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
The Commissioner of Police and various heads’ of securities was said to have arrived the city yesterday.
Security agencies however warned any group of Person’s who tries to disrupt the presidents visit will be dealt with.
