Isuikwuato women have been charged to sustain their support for the re-election of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu led government.
Speaking while addressing representatives of women groups from all electoral wards in Isuikwuato, a PDP chieftain, Prof Gregory Ibe challenged the women to work for the re-election of Governor Ikpeazu for a second tenure in the forthcoming governorship election to enable him consolidate on his good work in the state.
More so, the immediate past state chairman of PDP, Senator Emma Nwaka praised the women for their untiring commitment to the party urging them to vote only PDP candidates in the forthcoming election.
He further reminded them that after Governor Ikpeazu’s second tenure, power will return to Abia North in which case they have a chance to produce the next Governor.
In his remarks the PDP candidate for Isuikwuato/Umunneochi federal constituency Hon Jude Udeachara emplored the women to remain resolute in their support for PDP and assured them of quality representation when elected.
Responding through their leader Lady Christie Emenike, the women pledged unalloyed support for Governor Ikpeazu and all PDP candidates.
